Questions
I don’t stream — can I just upload videos and schedule them?
Yes. The Creator plan ($9/mo) is exactly that: upload a finished video, ClipRoute writes the title and hashtags for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook, and you post it everywhere in one click or schedule it. No stream channel needed.
Can it split a long video into Part 1, Part 2, Part 3… and post one a day?
Yes. Pick a part length (15 s to 10 min). ClipRoute cuts on natural pauses, labels every part “Part 2/5” on screen, adds a “Part 3 →” teaser at the end of each one, and the scheduler posts them in order — one or two a day on every account you choose.
Do I have to give you my Twitch / YouTube password?
No. We only use the official OAuth flows on each platform — you sign in on Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook directly, and they hand us a scoped token. Your passwords never reach our servers.
Can I clip another streamer’s channel?
No. ClipRoute only ingests channels you authenticate as the owner of through OAuth. We deliberately don’t support typed-handle scraping for regular accounts — it’s a ban-risk on both sides and against most platform terms.
How many clips per day will it post?
A hard cap of 3 posts per day per connected account, with a minimum spacing interval between consecutive posts to prevent burst publishing. This stays well below every platform’s documented automation limits.
I stream on Twitch, YouTube and Kick at the same time. Which plan?
Any streaming plan works. Every plan connects one stream channel, and a simulcast is the same stream on every platform, so connect the one that keeps your VODs the longest (YouTube keeps them for good, Twitch deletes them after a while). Clips from that channel still post to TikTok, Reels, Shorts and Facebook. Pick Pro if you want Auto-Pilot to clip every new stream for you.
Do my old viewer clips come over?
Yes. The moment you connect a channel we sync everything we can fetch — viewer-made clips, recent VODs, channel metadata — so the dashboard is populated immediately.
What happens to the clip I drop into the demo?
The live preview plays it from your browser — nothing is uploaded. If you click “Render my sample”, the clip is sent once, rendered, and deleted the moment ffmpeg finishes. The rendered sample self-deletes after 15 minutes, or immediately when you hit Done. We never keep demo footage.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from inside the app. We keep your clips and connected accounts intact so you can resume later. No refunds for partial periods, no lock-in.
